Thanks for being a courageous voice for reason, empathy, and ethics.

When you're fired up and in the zone, Corbin, you're equisitely articulate and motivational. Well done!

In my opinion, the real motivation of our military-industrial complex for the Iran attack may be oil; but I don't think Trump, himself, is smart enough to think that strategically. Rather, it seems clear he's been played (once again) by Netanyahu. Another way to make the Orange Menace feel strong and powerful. Another way to distract our attention from the Epstein saga and the myriad other failures of this malignant administration.

I appreciate your continuing links to Saikat Chakrabarti's "Mission for America." Seems to me it's an important plan for how to rebuild the economic vitality and personal opportunities for all of us. But it's incomplete. Until we also address the corruption of our legal system, our political systems, the ways our economics have been rigged to benefit a only few very rich folks, the ways universal rights have been undermined, and the real costs (both short- and long-term) of climate change, I don't think we'll have a movement that can redirect us from the current death march on which we're embarked.

I'm hoping that your PAC - A Fight Worth Having - will find a way to address all those larger needs.

Make no mistake. The U.S. attacked Iran at the behest of Israel. Israel, through AIPAC and similar lobbies, together with a mass media predominantly owned by Zionists, has taken over our country, especially our foreign policies. Iran poses no threat to the U.S. Indeed, its democratic aspirations and traditional opposition to Sunni terrorists make it a natural ally of Americans. Israel wants to expand, to become "greater Israel." All the wars the U.S. has waged since 9/11 have been in service to Israeli interests, not ours. Nothing good has come to America from the blood and trillions we've squandered there. We need to register Israeli lobbiests as foreign agents, abolish dual citizenship and the CIA.

The U.S./Israel attacked Iran at the behest of western financial elites/banksters. Oil is just a piece of the puzzle.

Set aside any Tucker Carlson bias you might have, and I have plenty, and focus on the dots connected by his guest here:

I am amazed that you can write that entire column and end up on an upbeat note. I think that is what makes us all progressives really. Thanks for this.

Keep it up Corbin.

We need to find some path to control the military spending. Both parties are complicit in building this enormous war machine, but there does not seem to be any spine in the congressional system to keep it under control. And it is now in the control of venal and amoral men.

After reading the first ~1/3 of this, I'm pretty sure you want to read this (if you haven't already, but it kind of sounds like you haven't); this is easily one of the Top 5 most important things I've read in the past decade:

I am tired of being accused of being an anti-Semite because I don't support the genocidal maniac that heads Isra hell in their quest for killing every last non-Jew in the Middle East. Probably here too. Trump will do Israel's bidding because (1) Miriam Adelson got him elected, and (2) Isra hel has the goods on the unspeakable horrors that Trump and his ilk have perpetrated against those least able to defend themselves. Jeffrey Epstein was a spy for the Mossad, and one of his missions was to compromise Trump and others in key positions. They succeeded.

Remember when the talk was that Putin had the goods (pee-tapes) on Trump and was able to dictate to him? It's starting to look more like Trump has the pedo and secret dealings tapes on so many world leader, they are afraid to push back on his reckless behavior. Or more likely they're in cahoots with his war, rape, and plunder tactics to line their personal pockets. Just saying, this is getting way passed scary and ridiculous.

Thanks Corbin! I just issued my first Substack post - you are part of the inspiration. We need millions to keep repeating the message - we need to focus our anger on the right things. https://ggantz.substack.com/p/american-fantasies?r=1832dt&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&showWelcomeOnShare=true

Read this today from Marianne Williamson, talking about Davos:

"Mark Carney didn’t just get a standing ovation for his speech; he created an earthquake. He seemed to be saying that if the United States wouldn’t lead with values, he would. He exhorted other “middle powers” to join him in initiating what is essentially a new power center in the world. And that’s exactly what they’re doing now. Carney is traveling to India, Australia and Japan for meetings this week."

A history lesson to remember lest we forget in this fog of war we once again find ourselves in. You've laid it out, Corbin, now it's up to us to share these reminder's of where we've been and how we got there. Thank you!

HI Corbin,

Great post. Carter, Regan, Clinton, Bush, Obama - the more things change the more that are the same. "Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose" - whoever wrote that a hundred years ago, was right then and its right now. How do we get out of this vicious circle?

Very informative, Corbin! thx for your time + sharing. It's sad to think that Trump doesn't realize that we, too, could be bombed because of our 'EVIL' leader!!! Woe are we! I didn't know about the 'dark factories' + altho they sound good for survival maybe, aren't they taking people's jobs?
