So I enjoyed reading this. It is what made me sign up for substack so I could comment.

Well obviously this would be a dream come true. To not just have an actual leader in the democratic party, but, to have a charismatic leader who I actually know will win and beat whoever the Republicans decide to fall in line for.

The state of US politics has risen to a pathetic authoritarian grifting arm of the Trump Corporation and we need to reverse course a lot sooner than 2028. We need to start planning for our victory today. And we desperately need to change from the current status quo of the democratic party. Cannot rely on the same tactics we tried on 2016, 2020 and again in 2024.

I’m with you. We need to get the attention of those on whom we’ve tasked with leadership or find alternatives

Me too Charles. I just signed up because of part two and part three of Corbin's dream. Actually moved me to tears. The loss of Bernie as president in 2016 and 2020 still is raw and makes me angry, angrier than I can describe. With the DNC at the lowest approval rates by the public in modern history, Corbin's hopefully prophetic vision here is exactly what's needed. Now I'm hoping that the people involved in this beautiful fantasy are actually reading this and taking note! We will certainly be behind them!

Thinking a Jew can win the Presidency in today's antisemitic Democratic Party is pretty unrealistic.

I don’t think the Democratic Party is even a little anti-Semitic. As is evident by the most popular politician being Jewish.

Funny considering Democrats continuously demand Israel stop fighting and don't mention Hamas at all and pretend like Israel isn't being shot at.

Opposing genocide and calling out Zionist opression doesn't equate to anti-semitism.

The ICJ ruled that it doesn't satisfy genocide criteria.

So yes you're just an antisemite getting up on a trend and being a racist POS against Jews because you have no fucking idea how any of it actually works.

You're just a hipster douchebag who let the latest trend turn you into a Nazi.

There is no genuine principle there. You're hollow and weak.

Meanwhile we don't hear you talking about the actual genocides that have gone on.

Hamas and the Nazis have the exact same ideology for the exact same reasons. They don't want Jews to exist. It's no deeper than that, and neither are you.

Oh dear, you are resorting to personal, rather infantile insults. You have a very limited idea about me or my politics, ideology or views. You are making a massive, slanderous assumption equating my views about Netanyhu and his aspirations to eliminate Palestinian people to anti- semitism. Asserting that anyone who is this is a ‘hollow, weak hipster’, a ‘douchebag’ and a ‘Nazi’ is simply reductionist nonsense.

🤣 anti Zionism is antisemitism. It's transparently so.

Only hardcore racists deny that.

Admit it you're mad that Hamas wasn't successful in their October 7th genocide and you can't accept the ICJ ruling that Israel isn't committing genocide.

I've given up on government reform in any form. As government and society fall into decay people will look for alternative organizations they can trust who can perform needed services reliably. We must concentrate on building them.

I've given this a shoutout in my Substack, Now What?, that's looking for what we-the-people can do now:

"If I ran the world, what Corbin has been posting would be required reading. There’s objective reporting and there’s perceptive reporting, and his perceptions ring my bells. I strongly urge you to check out this recent post where you can catch up on a particularly insightful series of his posts about where to from here, and you can sign up for what’s to come."

Hamas's murderous attacks were abhorrent. Anti Zionism can be judged Antisemitism but it can be seen to be a political argument, some people conflate rhe two. Some, including many Jewish people don't. I don't, seems you do.
