Mitch McConnell, even in his current state could run circles around Jeffries. The people most responsible for Trump are the democrats in charge now. The democratic status quo has got to go.

The people most responsible for Trump are the people who actually voted for him and the Republicans who love authoritarianism and hate democracy just as much as he does.

Jeffries and Schumer are feckless and have different priorities but off they had the majority there's no way in hell they would have agreed to all the corruption, concentration camps, secret police and soldiers. Invading our cities. I'm not a fan of Jeffries or Schumer but that's for their cowardice. The republicans are the real enemy.

You have to give people a reason to vote for you. The democrats couldn't. 77 million people weren't hoodwinked by President Fuckface.

I’m not discounting the Democrats not having the required courage. Their issue is not messaging its courage and seeing themselves as legitimate maybe even more so than the opposing party. However, we are all adults voters can decide for themselves. Actually they have usually decided for themselves like when we go to the grocery store among all the ice creams we usually get the same thing.

This is not all on the Democrats. If people can’t remember how he was before and take seriously a coup, felonies and rape convictions I don’t know what to tell them.

Elites believe in giving impunity to each other we don’t have to. Like you Kevin I’m hoping for the best. Even more I’m hoping that if the democrats get the majority they don’t serve some weak sauce about affordability when there’s corruption and using the law worse than a toilet brush.

We need change. We need a democrat equivalent of Trump - someone who can take over the party and get rid of all this baggage. Jeffries, Schumer, etc. need to go or they need to get onboard. WE DO NOT WANT TO RETURN TO POLITICS AS USUAL! Trump found money for every vanity project, for lower taxes, for aid to whatever he wanted to help, for an enormous increase in military, for DHS, for anything and everything he wanted. We give billions to countries that provide free healthcare and college, but we can’t afford to give these things to our own people. Enough already. We need democrats who can fight, who can show the insanity of what we have been doing, who will shout from the mountaintops. The politicians and the wealthy have brainwashed the masses for far too long. We must get money out of politics and bring ethics back! Out with the old guard!

Jeffries will likely be Speaker if the Dems take the House, but he is such a bad choice. Aligned with AIPAC and corporate interests, he will be an impediment to promoting the changes the public wants and needs. He seems incapable of, or unwilling to, whip his caucus as there have been several defections of Democratic Reps voting for right wing legislation and pulling it over the line. His denouncement of Medicare For All is just the latest example of thumbing his nose at his the people. We need a strong, bold leader to correct the path we are on and he is not that person.

Why does he have to be the speaker? We have to push for someone different!

The “fight” between corporate democrats and socialist leaning democrats has been strangely delayed so that it verges on the election period in a way convenient to no one except an opposition who would like a divided party. It is clear however that the current leadership has failed to offer meaningful solutions to the current manipulative regime, they have been outmaneuvered over and over and relegated to a convenient defensive line, unable to move the narrative out of the reactionary tract that’s so well managed by the regime’s often illicit diatribes. At the center of the problem is the triad of invitations to make being a democrat only about opposing rumps regime, and to make the left afraid of being left. The third challenge being accepting complicit funding: Jefferies while often earnest, is muddied in all three areas, he is not the leader needed for the battle we face now.

With my whole chest, F*CK JEFFRIES!!

Please choose a different speaker of the house when it’s time! He is so ineffective! He’s a recipient of AIPAC money, he’s got no morality or integrity. Get him outta there!

Leader? Put the crack pipe down, seek help.

Leader? Hilarious. Needed that one.

No mystery. You weren't polling the voters. You were polling some featherless bipeds that inhabit the country. The voters are Bibi, Sam, Dario, Jeff and Larry. You didn't poll them.
