Lastly, there is ZERO corporate oligarchy involvement in elections or in lobbying the Congress. Quick turn around jail time awaits the very rich, while quick turn around hands up awaits the working poor. 78 trillion and counting. This is just the top of what these parasites have stolen from the nation. This is the last ditch chance to avoid extinction. It depends on who is counted as 'WE'. Schumer and Jeffries or Sanders and AOC. We'll see if they are able to at least create a progressive "squad" in the Senate. People didn't vote for the Democrats; they voted against Trump and his policies; not even against the Republicans. The next two years will be really critical. If the Congress Democrats do not achieve some meaningful victories or at least get united around some progressive agenda relevant to their voters and regular Americans in general, "our" victory might not prove to be decisive. Unless they are able to demonstrate what they stand for, not against, their popularity will plummet. A very modest one-time billionaire tax proposal is going to fail in California (44% - yes, 56% - no; 45% registered Democrats, 25% registered Republicans). And 90% of its revenues was supposed to go to medical subsidies. So, who are 'we' and what 'we' are for is a big question.
