I am just the daughter of hippies from a rural old mill town in western Massachusetts and I too see the pain and broken dreams of a failed system but I also see the resilience. I wish journalism would focus on amplifying the people in our communities and exposing how they’ve been conned on so many levels. It’s not the time for incremental change.
